DroneShield will deliver the DroneGun Mk4 (pictured) as well as some of its other portable C-UAS solutions to the US DoD and another US government agency under two recently secured contracts. (DroneShield)<\/p>\n

DroneShield has secured two contracts, one from the US Department of Defense (DoD) and the other from a US government agency, to provide multiple types of handheld counter-unmanned aircraft system (C-UAS) equipment.<\/p>\n

The deliveries under the two contracts, together valued at USD2.2 million, are expected to be completed by June, the CEO of the company, Oleg Vornik, told Janes<\/em> on 18 April. The payment for both the orders is expected in September, he added. <\/p>\n

The C-UAS equipment to be delivered under the two contracts includes the recently launched DroneGun Mk4 as well as the RfPatrol, Vornik confirmed. \u201cThe RfPatrol is a natural companion device to the DroneGun Mk4. The former detects and the latter defeats,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He declined to comment about the other equipment that DroneShield will deliver to the US government because of the sensitive nature of the contracts.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
