Arcane Lineage Quests

Now, let’s take a look at a list of quests, broken down into the different locations.

Caldera Town Quests

The following quests aren’t Guild Clerk quests, and you typically complete them within Caldera Town.

Guide

You can pick up this quest by talking to the NPC near the lamppost where you first spawn.

Sage

Visit the NPC sitting on the steps near the lamppost NPC to pick up this quest.

Package Delivery

Head to the store and speak to the NPC standing just outside it.

Orderly Quests

The following quests are only available to orderly types.

Ingredient

The NPC that initiates this quest is inside a building near the store in Caldera Town.

Crylight

Head to Deeproot Canopy, then visit the treetop tower with green banners outside of it. The NPC that initiates this quest is down the stairs standing next to a bookshelf.

Chaotic Quests

The following quests will help you become a chaotic character.

Murder

Visit the treetop tower and speak to the NPC sitting on the ledge near the tower with a glowing green portal inside.

Kill

Speak to an NPC standing outside a house in the treetop tower in Deeproot Canopy.

Neutral Quests

You can complete the following quests as orderly or chaotic, though your decision will help progress you down one of the paths. Generally, picking the evil option is chaotic, and the good, orderly.

Health Potion

Speak to the NPC in the Caldera Town potions shop to pick up this quest.

Rescue

Speak to the NPC sat down in a ruin in Old Ruins in Waving Sands to initiate this quest.

Forest Quests

The following quests are located in the forest. Pick them up from the Guild Clerk NPC in Caldera Town.

Slime Investigation

To complete it, defeat slimes until you’ve collected five Slime Chunks, and then turn it in to the same NPC.

Slime Cleaning

Defeat eight slimes to complete this quest.

Field Research

Collect five Mushroom Caps and hand them in.

King Slime Hunt

Defeat the King Slime in the forest then turn it in.

Wilderness Hunting

Defeat 18 monsters in the forest to complete this quest. Human enemies don’t count towards the total.

Bandit Hunting

Defeat a certain number of bandits in the forest to complete this quest.

Desert Quests

The following quests take place in the desert. Pick them up from the Guild Clerk NPC.

Sandy Extermination

Defeat a certain number of monsters in the desert, then turn in this quest.

Fragment Research

Defeat sandstorms to collect four restless fragments, then turn it in.

Elemental Investigation

Defeat sand elementals, which drop sand cores. Collect three of these and turn it in.

Golem Culling

Defeat sand golems until this quest is complete, then turn it in.

Bandit Cleaning

Just like in the forest version, defeat desert bandits and turn it in.

Deeproot Canopy Quests

The following quests are available in Deeproot Canopy.

Corpse Recovery

Defeat walking corpses in Deeproot Canopy to complete this quest.

Fog Clearing

Defeat Fog Spirits in Deeproot Canopy to complete this quest.

Deeproot Cleansing

Defeat monsters in Deeproot Canopy to complete this quest. Human enemies don’t count towards the total.

Poisoned Crops

Defeat mushrooms in Deeproot Canopy to complete this quest.

Rot Collection

Collect cores to complete this quest.
