BLAST, the company that organises esports tournaments, has hired Tom Greene as its Chief Growth Officer.
Greene joins the company after spending six years working on the Harry Potter film series.
Chief Growth Officer for BLAST, Greene will work to expand the company’s clientele and customer base. In addition, he will use his product development experience to attract key demographics and broaden the tournament organizer’s product line.
When it comes to the Harry Potter franchise, Tom brings an abundance of experience and knowledge from his time there. He was instrumental in evolving the Wizarding World’s digital publishing platforms and creating an unforgettable fan experience.
“His arrival signifies BLAST’s desire to grow and strengthen our relationship with our community.”
BLAST has had a busy month of September. The organiser has partnered with Magnum, an Israeli ice cream brand, and signed a media rights deal with the Gaming Channel, an Israeli television channel, which will air BLAST Premier’s CS:GO tournament series until the end of 2021.
“I’m thrilled to join the team at such an exciting time for BLAST and for esports more generally,” said the newly-appointed Chief Growth Officer of his new position. There is an incredible amount of passion and talent on the BLAST team, and it is exciting to be a part of it.
“I’m excited to be a part of the team as we work to deliver even more amazing products and experiences to our fans both old and new,” he said.
