Forza Motorsport has added a few different things to the formula of Forza Motorsport, including slightly changing up the Career Mode in comparison to the previous entry in the Forza Motorsport series. One of the additions in Forza Motorsport is the Practice before each race. Similar to real life, you will now have the chance to practice on a track before you actually go and race on it. This means you can perfect corners, hit some time goals that the game will set for you, and just get to know the track before you head out. This addition is a great one for any track that you feel you might need the trial run on before you head out to race for real. But if you don’t need to practice on that track, you may be asking yourself, “Can you skip practice in Forza Motorsport?” Here’s our guide on that.

Can you skip Practice in Forza Motorsport? Answered

The short answer to being able to skip Practice in Forza Motorsport is: Yes. You can skip Practice in Forza Motorsport by heading into the pause menu and scrolling right to the bottom of the menu, then pressing exit race, and the option for skipping practice should be right there for you to press and skip practice. It does warn you that you will lose car XP and Credits from this current Practice if you skip, but if you haven’t started the actual Practice, you will only lose what you haven’t even got yet. However, those XP and Credits may be useful to you down the line.

Should you skip practice?

Skipping Practice in Forza Motorsport is entirely up to you. I personally skip most Practice rounds because I have raced on most of the tracks in the game, and especially if I’m used to the car I’m racing in, I don’t really need the time to learn how to take corners and such. But there is merit to wanting to Practice and learn different tracks — even doing it just for the XP and Credits, as they’re obviously useful in the long run, too.
