Exclusive insights from IP offices: WTR launches dedicated hub on trademark tools and services

Source Node: 2637466

For the past couple of years, WTR has collaborated with national and multinational IP offices around the world to give them an opportunity to share information on the non-core tools and services they offer. Today, WTR launches a dedicated hub for this exclusive series, allowing easy access to this regularly updated intelligence.

The series – ‘IP office tools and services’ – is available on the WTR data hub, which also includes exclusive insights on physical counterfeit hotspots (in over 50 jurisdictions), online counterfeit hotspots (in other 30 jurisdictions), our register and brand trackers, and many more content sets.

This new section is an exclusive hub that allows national IP offices from across the globe to share information on the tools and services that trademark practitioners should be aware of, and can make use of. Some of the insights they share include developments on digital services, use of artificial intelligence and blockchain technology, alternative dispute resolution offerings, use of social media, and collaborative efforts with other registries.

Some of the more than 20 IP offices that have shared exclusive insights include the IPOs from Australia, Benelux, Brazil, Canada, Chile, the European Union, Germany, Hong Kong, Peru, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, and the UK.

Crucially, the pieces will be updated by the IP offices over time, to ensure the information remains correct and up-to-date. This means this page will be a constantly growing and updated resource on the tools and services offered by IP offices, both in terms of their digital platforms and their non-core activities.

If you work at an IP office in a jurisdiction we have yet to cover, and could share your insights to brand owners around the world, then please do get in touch.
