IMPT, a blockchain-based carbon-offsetting and retail shopping ecosystem, has introduced a Software as a Service (SaaS) model of its Global Partnership Network Platform. This application offers businesses a customer loyalty platform without the need to develop their own, saving them time and resources.

The SaaS platform enables businesses within IMPT’s Retail Partnership Network to quickly identify and expand retail partnerships worldwide.

A new survey of U.S. and U.K. consumers by Tata Consultancy Services found that interest in sustainable shopping is on the rise, with most consumers willing to spend more on environmentally-friendly items. The survey also revealed that consumers are also interested in using tech-enabled shopping experiences such as the use of QR codes to receive more information (54%) to streamline their shopping.

As customer preferences increasingly prioritize sustainability, IMPT’s technology aims to connect retailers directly with and reward eco-friendly shoppers for their loyalty. Through the SaaS platform, retailers can tap into a network of environmentally-conscious shoppers who use the IMPT shopping app and receive rewards for making sustainable choices.

Denis Creighton, CEO of IMPT, emphasizes the value of loyalty programs for attracting repeat customers and boosting sales, particularly for small businesses that may lack the resources to create their own systems. By joining IMPT’s global network of brands, retailers can reach eco-conscious shoppers who are dedicated to supporting businesses with similar values, thus contributing to the fight against climate change.

IMPT’s carbon-offsetting ecosystem leverages Web3 technology to bring transparency and verifiability to the carbon credit industry. Members of the Retail Partnership Network can use the SaaS platform to explore available countries and secure exclusive rights to develop and manage retail networks in specific regions. This aligns with IMPT’s mission to incentivize retailers to combat climate change by empowering their customers to reduce their carbon emissions while shopping.

Denis Creighton sees this launch as an essential step towards fulfilling IMPT’s vision of enabling individuals to make a positive impact through everyday choices. By distributing tokenized carbon credits worldwide, the platform aims to raise awareness and encourage retailers to participate in a loyalty program that benefits the planet.
