Nvidia CEO, Jensen Huang, says we are on the cusp of a true full metaverse.
He speaks of the endless possibilities of a metaverse with the presence of VR, AR, and NFTs.

Nvidia CEO, Jensen Huang, had an interesting sit down with a few reporters. From the comfort of the new Nvidia building — Voyager in Santa Clara, Huang shares his vision about the possibilities of the Nvidia metaverse.

Huang talks about a metaverse overlay existing side-by-side with our physical world. He talks about the possibility of bringing a world like ‘Ready Player One’ to real life.

In particular, Huang believes that we as a race are right on the cusp of connecting a metaphysical world to our real world. Specifically, he says that this is highly possible with the presence of VR, AR, and NFT technology.

For instance, Nvidia is already exploring the possibilities of VR with its virtual blueprint of the Voyager building. They are already uploading themselves on a robot that navigates through the virtual building.

As for AR additions, Huang pictures wearing glasses that can spot virtual displays within the physical realm. Imagine, users can buy and display art in the form of NFTs. They can display it wherever they want, whenever they want, and with perfect lighting.

NFTs and the blockchain offer a whole new world of possibilities for the metaverse. It brings safety and ownership. Gamers, corporations, institutes, they can all even run simulations in the metaverse if they so choose to.

In addition, Huang also takes a minute to draw light to its ongoing project – Nvidia Omniverse. This project is any developer’s dream come true. It is already being used by big-name brands like BMW, Bentley, and WPP.

Presently, Nvidia is in the process of bidding for Arm in the pursuit of building an Arm-based CPU — Grace. All in all, Nvidia is constantly working to push the limits and bring out-of-the-box solutions to its users. Perhaps sooner rather than later Nvidia will bring to life the metaverse we’ve seen in movies so far.
