Terra Virtua plans to kick off 3 days of non-fungible (NFT) auctions on June 18, 2021 from the blockbuster movie Godzilla vs. Kong.
Many of the NFTs have been sold out since the movie and NFT collection launched in March 2021. However, some make their path onto the secondary market with prices more than 15000%, higher than the original sale price. A big collector from Terra Virtua explained that the collector bought the launch poster for $25 and sold it after 2 months for $4000.
Terra Virtua CEO Gary Bracey said,
”The demand we saw for Godzilla vs. Kong NFTs in March was insane and often had people complaining they didn’t manage to get what they wanted, so, with the release on Bluray earlier this week, it makes sense to kick off a renewed push by auctioning each of the enormous titans; Mechagodzilla, Godzilla, and Kong.”
Moreover, the auction will start with Mechagodzilla on June 18 at 6 pm. More so, with a reserve price of $50k, this 1 of 1 NFT is fully animated and that adds previously unseen animations which is a real prized purchase for sure. Godzilla starts on June 19 at 7 pm (BST) for 24 hours. In addition, Kong will be the final auction that takes place on June 20 at 8 pm (BST) for 24 hours.
In addition, in order to bid in the Godzilla vs. Kong fully animated 1 of 1 NFTs users need to be registered on Terra Virtua with either a debit or credit card. Or else, users can also connect their metamask to their account. Moreover, if these steps are not taken, any bids made will be removed.
