Season 3 of Call of Duty DMZ brought a number of interesting and exciting updates, but none so much as the new location. Vondel is the latest map to hit DMZ, bringing with it a new enemy and challenges. One of these challenges is to find the location of detonators dotted around the map. Each location has a few spawn points for the detonators, and they can be a little tricky to find. Here’s how to find the Castle detonator in Warzone 2 DMZ.
Where to find Castle Detonator in Warzone 2 DMZ
The Castle detonator can spawn in one of two places. I think it is easiest to start at the top of the building and work your way down. This encounters the least amount of enemies and can even be done with no conflict whatsoever.

- While facing the Castle, jump into the moat to the right of the bridge.
- Swim towards the Castle walls and look for a climbing rope.
- Once at the top of the rope, head right down the corridor until you get to the tower.
- Climb to the top of the tower using the various stairs and ladders.
- Right at the top, you will see a stack of boxes by the open window. This is the first possible location for the Castle detonator in Warzone 2 DMZ.
Never fear if it isn’t here; the second location is just below you.

- Make your way back down the ladders and stairs from the tower until you return to the second floor of the Castle.
- Head into the main lobby of the Castle and turn to face the north.
- You will see an open room, looking quite like an office.
- To the right, against a wall, you will notice a small coffee table.
- This is the second possible location for the detonator in Warzone 2 DMZ.
